WEBSITE DESIGNER - Ideal Group - Detroit MI

A growing nationwide distributor & manufacturer is offering an exciting Cooperative Education opportunity for a website designer. We are looking for a high-energy student with proven talent and experience in developing websites, as well as graphic design experience and understanding of java scripting. We offer a flexible environment that provides multiple opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. Our company is known for its on the job training and strong co-op recruiting. Average hours per week 15 - 25, job duties include the following:

Assist with website updates, adding content and overall website navigation
Run monthly measurable on mailings and website traffic
Design sales presentations, direct mailers, and product catalogs
Assist with monthly e-blast communications
Maintain company database
Send monthly customer surveys enter results into database
Miscellaneous marketing projects as needed


SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: All Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, Dream weaver, Flash, and In Design. Ability to read java script is a plus. Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

GPA Reguirement: 2.25
