Marketing Intern - FALL 2013 (Unpaid, eligible for class credit) Employer Organization Name: The Henry Ford Work Schedule: full or part time available Wage/Salary: Unpaid Employment Start Date: September 2013 Employment End Date: December 2013 *Job Description: The Henry Ford is interviewing now for FALL 2013 interns in our Marketing department. The internships include multiple writing opportunities, escorting sponsors on-site, working on public affairs events, and assistance with corporate partner renewals, presentations, etc. Our fall interns will work on several projects including our Avatar exhibition, JFK anniversary, Hallowe'en and Holiday Nights. While this position is unpaid the experience is priceless and can be claimed for academic credit. Public relations, communications, marketing, advertising, and English majors are encouraged to apply. *Qualifications: Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills required. Intern candidates need to be comfortable with PowerPoint presentations, client services, business calls, research, maintaining databases, as well as assisting with selected events and programs. This internship requires a minimum two-day commitment per week; evening and weekend hours may be required for events.
