IT Intern For Team Detroit

Team Detroit JOB TITLE: IT Intern REPORTS TO: IT Director or appropriate leadership FLSA: Non-Exempt PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY: This is a paid internship until the end of the year. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Assemble Pentium class PC’s/MAC’s and install operating systems and supported software • Perform installations and testing of hardware and software products individually and part of a team, utilizing company hardware and software standards. • Coordinating, and performing the placement of equipment with the helpdesk support personnel and customer’s in the central and remote offices. • End User Data Backup and Restores • Maintains software and hardware registration and inventory. • Provide upgrades as necessary and insure appropriate security levels are maintained. • Accomplishes other Information Systems Duties/Tasks as required. • Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System. • Supports/facilitates the mandatory adherence to ISO9001 requirements, processes and procedures. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Some knowledge of Mac OS X and Windows 7 • Good customer service skills • Some knowledge in Microsoft products, some understanding of network procedures and operation on MAC and PC. • Some ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical network related issues.
